GENERAL INFO

The Uni Games (13 - 16 April, 2010) will be held in Invercargill, Southland and will see tertiary students from across New Zealand (and some from Australia) compete in approximately 20 different sports with the goal of taking The Shield!!!

Unigames is held in april annually.  The New Zealand University Games is the Flagship University Sporting event in New Zealand. The first Uni Games was held in 1902, now over 100 years later the Uni Games attract over 2000 participants in 20 sports and is one of the largest annual multi-sport events in New Zealand. The Unigames is famous for providing a friendly yet competitive environment for competition. An atmosphere that has developed the Unigames into NZ's premier university sports event. Off the field, the week has an exciting social programme that has enhanced the not-to-be-missed reputation associated with the Uni Games.

So you are a student at University of Waikato and you want to go to the Unigames in Invercargill 2010? It doesn't matter if you are part time, a member of staff or based out of Tauranga Campus.  All you need to have is a 2010 University of Waikato Student ID to be eligible to play.
