Waikato University Rowing Club

The Waikato University Rowing Club (WURC) has the goal of promoting, fostering and developing rowing within the Waikato region and broader New Zealand.  This is in accordance with the code provided by the New Zealand Rowing Association (NZRA) and those of the University Rowing Council (URNZ). Premier rowing events that WURC members compete in annually include the New Zealand University Rowing Championships, the Trans Tasman Test Series, World University Games and the prestigious Gallagher Great Race.
